Copilot Series – OPS – Front Seat Mount Panel for VW T5/T6/T6.1

What is the OPS?

The OPS is a front seat base panel from our Copilot Series, designed to mount onto the front side of the driver or passenger seat support in VW T5, T6, and T6.1 vans. It allows you to attach accessories, tools, fire extinguisher, first aid kits in a clean, accessible way.

Why is it useful?

• Turns unused seat base space into a practical mounting area.
• Compatible with L-track accessories and round-hole systems (QuickFist, brackets, hooks, etc.).
• Ideal for attaching gear you need quick access to while parked or on the road.
• Improves organization in the cabin — no more clutter on the dashboard or floor.
• Ideal to mount a fire extinguisher or a first aid kit or a bullock to be easily accessible.

How is it attached?

It installs using the factory seat bolts located at the front of the seat base. No drilling is required. Not possible to be mounted on the rear side of the base seat.

What tools do I need to install it?

• 13mm socket wrench
• Standard wrench or ratchet

What is it made of?

3mm aluminum and finished in a black textured powder coat for durability and a clean OEM-style look.

Which vans is it suitable for?

Compatible with Volkswagen T5, T6, and T6.1 vans — including Transporter, Caravelle, and California models.

Additional information:

• Sold as a single unit (1 panel).
• L-track rings and accessories not included.

Installation tips:

Installation is easier if you slide the seat forward or backward to access the front nuts and rear bolts.

• Remove the front nuts.
• Loosen the rear bolts.
• Raise the front of the seat to align the panel's top mounting slots with the factory studs.
• Reposition the seat, reinstall the nuts, and tighten everything securely.
