Installation

Each sun visor is held in place on 2 sides — two near the center of the van, and two near the side windows. You only need to remove the screws closest to the rearview mirror.

  • Lower both visors.
  • Remove the plastic cover with the plastic pry.
  • Remove the two inner screws (closest to the rearview mirror area).
  • Align the two mounting holes on the Command panel by centering it with the overhead console and matching them with the factory holes. Once aligned, reinstall the screws.
  • Reinstall the screws and tighten them securely.

FAQ

Will it fit my Transporter?

The panel is valid for the VW T5 and T6, not valid for the T6.1

Do I need to drill?

No, it's mounted using the OEM screws that are already holding your sun visors.

Can the sun visor tilt completely?

Unfortunately not, it can be tilted around 80%.

What accessories can I mount?

Tough Track RAM mount, ball mounts, and anything you can attach by using a screw, basically.
